Carl Hallman Watts

     Carl Hallman Watts, 94 of Conover passed away on July 24, 2023 at Carolina Rehabilitation Center of Burke in Connelly Springs.  Carl was born on August 24, 1928 to the late Beverly Wade and Artie Pearl Hallman Watts in Maiden, NC.  He was employed as an office manager for American-Marietta which operated Martin-Marietta rock quarries.   Carl was prceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Almeda Beard Watts.  He is survived by one brother, John Franklin Watts, a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other cherished relatives and friends. 

     The Watts family will have a funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday July 29, 2023 in the chapel of the Catawba Memorial Park mausoleum in Hickory, NC.
