Jeffrey Eric Douthit

Jeffrey Eric Douthit, known to his loved ones as Jeff, passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 56 in Denver, NC. Born on October 11, 1966, in Denver, NC, Jeff was a great father, brother, and friend. He had a passion for working in NASCAR and enjoyed the camaraderie with his work family at Trackhouse Racing. Jeff graduated from East Lincoln High School and cherished the memories made during his time there.

Jeff is survived by his loving son, Jeremy Adam Douthit, his brother, Robby Douthit, his sister, Donna Mauney, and his grandson, Cooper Douthit. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Douthit, and his mother, Brenda Douthit.

A funeral service to honor Jeff's life will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at Goodin-Drum Funeral Home in Maiden, NC. 

In memory of Jeff, contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, a cause that was close to his heart.

Jeffrey Eric Douthit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in peace.
