Dorcas W. Harrill, 94 of Maiden died October 1, 2017 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.  Born July 25, 1923 in Lincoln County to the late Will and Bertie Lee Williams.  She was a member of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden.  She loved the Lord and her family very much.  She loved going to the beach, she loved cooking for her family, and just being with them.  She lived at Abernathy Laurels for the past 5 years.  The Harrill family would like to thank all the nurses and staff for all they have done.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dwight Harrill, one son; Olen Harrill, her sisters; Helen Fish, Mag Finger, Abe Rash, Dezzie Klutz, her brothers; Craig Williams, Spurgeon Williams, and Flint Williams.

She is survived by one son, Michael Harrill and wife Denise of Bethlehem, daughter in law Linda Harrill of Catawba, grandsons; Doug Harrill and wife Sherry of Claremont, Dennis Harrill and wife Dianna of St. Louis, Jeremy Harrill and friend Angel of Concord, Justin Harrill and wife Kristen of Fort Mills, Kyle Benfield and wife Savannah of Connelly Springs, granddaughter Erika Benfield of Bethlehem, great-grandchildren; Dustin Harrill and wife Ellen, Brittany Harrill, Charlotte Vercellotti and husband Nick, Toby Harrill, Alexis Harrill, Nick, Alyssa, Brendan, Courtney, Jenna, Amber and Braylon Harrill, and Jaxson Benfield, great-great grandchildren; Anniston Fulbright and Ophelia Vercellotti.

The Harrill family will receive friends Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.  The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 4:00 pm.  Rev. Charles Worley will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Maiden City Cemetery.
