Carolyn Sue (Reinhardt) Hughes

Carolyn Sue Reinhardt Hughes, 68 of Newton, passed away October 24, 2022 at Senior Citizens Living in Lenoir.  Carolyn was born on May 16, 1954 to the late Boyd Austin and Pauline Williams Rinehardt in Lincoln County. She worked in the glove industry for many years until she retired.  Carolyn was a devoted member of the Maiden Church of God.

Carolyn is survived by her three brothers; David Reinhardt, Daniel Reinhardt, and Terry Reinhardt, all of Maiden, four sons; Jai Rinehardt, Lee Broome, Ray Broome, Matthew Broome, and many other cherished relatives and friends

The Hughes family will receive friends on October 28, 2022 from 11am - 12pm at Maiden Church of God.  The funeral service will be held October 28, 2022 at 12pm in the sanctuary at Maiden Church of God.  Pastor Jeff Goudelock will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
