Frances Eudora (Canipe) Dellinger

Frances Eudora Canipe Dellinger, 75 of Lincolnton passed away on August 19, 2020 at Atrium Healthcare - Lincoln.  Frances was born on July 28, 1945 in Catawba County to the late Fred Colon and Cordie Dell Clark Canipe.  The majority of her life was spent being a loving wife and mother to her children and grandchildren. She loved her husband and children with all she had and was always eager to be supportive of them. Frances was a woman that loved the Lord Jesus Christ and her heart and hospitality shown to everyone around her.  As a result of her generous spirit and beautiful personality, she was loved by so many and her influence will remain in the lives of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Nelson Dellinger, Sr., five brothers; Fred Garland Canipe, Glenn Thomas Canipe, Ray Clifford Canipe, Everett Franklin Canipe, and Billy McArthur Canipe, two sisters; Vera Lee Foster and Joyce Isabelle Young, and one stepson, Jeff Wentz.

Frances is survived by one son, Ralph Nelson Dellinger, Jr., two daughters; Susan H. McCray and husband Dan, and Sheila D. Mace and husband Donald Dean Mace, one brother, Larry Steven Canipe and wife Pam, one sister, Lois Elizabeth Mellon, one step-daughter, Tammy Wentz Morrison, two grandsons; Randy A. Hudson and wife Kirsten and James T. Hudson and wife Melinda, three grandchildren; Rhett Sterling Hudson, Calem M. Hudson, and Cody J. Hudson, and two step-grandchildren; Kiesha L. Morrison and Christopher Dellinger, and many other cherished relatives and friends.

The Dellinger family will receive friends on August 24, 2020 from 1-2 pm at Goodin-Drum Funeral Home in Maiden.  The funeral service will follow at 2 pm on August 24, 2020 in the chapel of Goodin-Drum Funeral Home In Maiden.  Pastor Bud Painter will be officiating.  Interment will be at Forest Lawn of Lincolnton following the service.
