Newton- Wilma Kathryn Bolick Cline, age 91, of Newton passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Abernathy Laurels.  She was born May 22, 1923 in Catawba County to the late Walter D. Bolick and Cora Huffman Bolick.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Maiden, Maiden Garden Club, Secretary of Catawba County Board of Elections and Elections Register, Girl Scout Leader, and was active in the Democrat Party.
She survived by one son, Kenneth L. Cline and his wife Suzanne of Newton, one daughter, Joy Beatty and her husband Jerry of Sherrills Ford, five grandchildren, Josh Beatty, Jon David Beatty and his wife Brooke, Jenaleigh Beatty, Tyja Parlier and her husband Sean, and Benjamin O’Neal Cline and four great grandchildren, Kennedy Beatty, Madison Beatty, Noah Parlier and Blake Parlier.
Services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Maiden.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:45 in the church fellowship hall prior to the service.  The interment will follow in the Conover City Cemetery.  Rev. Tony Jordan will officiate.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Heat and Air Fund.
